Avenging Angels

These two avenging angels are sketch proposals for a crazy friend of mine who wanted me to design him a tattoo(!). He was pretty specific - an Angel of Justice swooping down, blindfolded, flaming sword in one hand and scales in the other. So here are the two proposals I came up with for him. Personally, I prefer the smaller one at the top (mostly because there's less anatomy involved).

I need to find an email address for him so I can get his thoughts and work on a finished version. When we have something firm, I'll post it up.
